Security Officer - Healthcare Facility - Morning Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, lobbies, parking areas, and other assigned locations, helping to support orderly operations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and relay important information to supervisors and site personnel.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
