As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coverage in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and compliance with location rules and posted procedures.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other matters that may impact daily operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
