Job Description As a Security Officer Guest Services in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front desk policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site procedures.Monitor access points, receive and direct deliveries, answer incoming calls, and communicate visitor or service-provider arrivals to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying designated personnel and emergency services as directed.Maintain awareness of front desk activities and report unusual conditions, access concerns, or policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements At least six months of security-related experience is required.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
