Security Officer - Graveyard
Responsibilities
- Aids guests by providing directions and answering questions.
- Investigates all accidents on Harrah’s/Caesars Republic premises and assists injured guests.
- Checks guest identification to ensure they are 21 years of age or older.
- Patrols the parking lot and garage by car or van.
- Escorts employees with monies.
- Controls and directs traffic as needed.
- Maintains high levels of customer service.
- Makes observations and reports any disturbances, crimes, fire hazards, or undesirable persons to Security supervision.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Literacy and fluency in English.
- Valid Drivers’ License and clean driving record.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire date.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Report writing skills.
- Computer literacy required.
- Ability to obtain a license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members.
Additional Requirements
- Auditory and visual fields must include immediate environment.
- Ability to move quickly in response to emergency situations.
- Ability to deal with violent situations by verbal de-escalation or physical restraint.
- Ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and carry up to 2000 feet.
- Ability to restrain or assist in restraining a person of up to 200 lbs.
- Ability to walk/stand up to 8 hours per day.
