Security Officer - Graveyard

Responsibilities

• Aids guests by providing directions and answering questions.
• Investigates all accidents on Harrah’s/Caesars Republic premises and assists injured guests.
• Checks guest identification to ensure they are 21 years of age or older.
• Patrols the parking lot and garage by car or van.
• Escorts employees with monies.
• Controls and directs traffic as needed.
• Maintains high levels of customer service.
• Makes observations and reports any disturbances, crimes, fire hazards, or undesirable persons to Security supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Literacy and fluency in English.
• Valid Drivers’ License and clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Report writing skills.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to obtain a license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
• Acts as a role model and maintains integrity.

About the Role

Provides superior service to Caesars Entertainment guests through patrols, assisting with inquiries, and supporting other departments. Works in a variety of environments including the casino, parking lot, and garage. Must possess the ability to handle emergencies, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to company policies.
