Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government child and family services location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with the orderly flow of visitors and reporting hazards, damaged property, and unusual conditions to site leadership.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
