As a Security Officer Government Facility Site Driver in Del Valle, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activities through clear, timely reports and shift communications.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, overnight shifts: Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
