Security Officer (Glenaire)

About the role

Security Officers are to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. We are looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor and protect the premises.

Responsibilities

• Performing security patrols on foot or in vehicle
• Maintaining site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions
• Preventing theft or vandalism
• Preparing reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Providing assistance to residents, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Responding to emergencies
• Ensuring the safety of all residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid NC drivers license
• At least 21 years old
• Desire to serve senior adults
• Positive outlook
• Able to take initiative and be detailed oriented
• Working independently and on a team
• Flexible and able to handle a fast pace
• Great communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a security officer or guard
• Training in self-defense and first aid
• A sharp eye with quick reaction time
