As an Access Control Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and provide courteous assistance to patients, staff, and guests. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, issuing visitor badges, and documenting authorized access in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and cameras as assigned; report irregularities, equipment concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.53 per hour

Schedule

Part-time. Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
