Security Officer - Gate Guard

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will monitor security systems to spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses. Sharp observation skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a clean motor vehicle record
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to obtain a Georgia state security license

Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Part-Time: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (8 hours)
• Part-Time: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.00/hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.
