Security Officer Garage Patrol - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.
• Support day-to-day operations by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally to emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
