Security Officer -Fulltime- Overnight 11pm-7pm - Licensed G and D required

Gatehouse Duties

• Verify guest authorization and process entrants to the community
• Aid in maintaining resident/member files, including updates and guest lists
• Check and account for all residence and building keys
• Maintain and monitor alarms, telephones, cameras, and 911 pager systems
• Note and report all activities
• Maintain gatehouse cleanliness and order
• Provide assistance to residents/members as needed
• Report suspicious or significant activity
• Keep and maintain log books, patrol logs, and incident reports

Patrol Duties

• Patrol interior streets, common areas, residential areas, and perimeter fence-line
• Report violations of Association Rules and Regulations to the shift supervisor
• Respond to and investigate all residential and perimeter alarms
• Conduct tests of all equipment at the start of shift
• Operate and maintain department’s vehicles and equipment
• Multi-task in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current State of Florida D' and G' Security/Firearms licenses and active status
• Valid State of Florida Driver's License
• CPR, AED, and 1st Aid certifications
• Insurable under Quail Ridge’s vehicle insurance policy
• Clean criminal and motor vehicle records
• Military, law enforcement, emergency medical, or significant security experience preferred
• Willingness to take directions and complete assigned tasks
• Self-starter and eager to learn
• Time management skills
• High performance standards
