As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Oversight in Nazareth, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and supporting site procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

• Thursday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Sunday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver entry records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, loading areas, and access-control systems; report unauthorized access attempts, irregular activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility perimeter, parking areas, docks, and designated access points to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (C123).
• Prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).
• Experience with alarm panel systems (B202), including knowledge of alarm operations and protocols.
• Comfortable using computers or tablets (B204) for daily tasks including communication, data entry, and accessing company systems; proficiency in basic software applications expected.
• Background in customer service (B219) with strong communication skills and commitment to providing excellent service.
• Experience in loss prevention (B210) strategies and practices, including understanding theft prevention techniques and ability to identify potential security risks.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
