Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Credentialing in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns.

• DayTime: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM, Tue 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Maintain accurate access-control records by monitoring access points, verifying identification and credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
