Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner while following established protocols.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state and/or local laws.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
