Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
