Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Alpharetta, GA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use clear communication and customer service skills while reporting security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, building entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Friday: 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
