Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Verification Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Verification Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly healthcare. You'll conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements

• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$18.00 / Hour

Day Time: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
