Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Roving Security Officer in Eastvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, deliver exceptional customer service, support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading and receiving locations, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, support badge and credential procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit operations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology-focused environment.

Requirements

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
