Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logbook entries, and incident documentation; communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$14.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
