Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This position requires conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors. This is a driving position that requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (C123).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$23.25 / hour

• Monday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
