Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Premises Inspection

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Premises Inspection in Northport, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Basic computer skills.
