Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Coverage

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and daily activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and communications with property management and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime, Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
