Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist residents and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document activities using computer or tablet tools, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.90 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Monday through Friday
