Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare and biopharmaceuticals. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control activities. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff, and documenting security-related observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Customer service experience.
• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Pay

$26.00 / hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day shift: 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM, Monday through Friday
