Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Support

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Support Security Officer in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. Your role includes clear communication, responding to security-related concerns, and contributing to a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor authorization, and maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$25.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
