Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Services

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Your role supports a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff while addressing security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or activities.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills, notifying appropriate personnel, and documenting activities as required.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.79 per hour.

• Wednesday: 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM
• Thursday: 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM
• Friday: 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM
• Sunday: 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
