Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Service

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail and common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and security‑related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.60 per hour (Full‑time position).

Schedule

Daytime: Monday 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM, Thursday 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM, Friday 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM.
