Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Review

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to routine security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor access as required, and maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
