Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Public Assistance

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Public Assistance Security Officer in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role involves providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and effectively, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while supporting a professional and orderly workplace environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.50 per hour.

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM (24-hour shift)
• Sunday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM (24-hour shift)
