About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will support a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Fremont, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications to document security-related observations and events.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$25.90 per hour.

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
