Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Tampa, FL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
