Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location in San Francisco, CA, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, assisting with access control procedures and directing individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
