About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Experience in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to visitors, employees, and passengers.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding perimeters, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas for unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations; report observations through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and public emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour
• Schedule: Daytime, Monday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Friday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Saturday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Sunday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
