Security Officer Full Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol

About the role

This full‑time, experienced unarmed patrol position in Ashville, OH, involves serving and safeguarding clients across a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security‑related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service and communicating professionally with employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ years for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
