As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Logging in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Preferred: comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Preferred: able to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Preferred: customer service experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
