Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Relations

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will use clear communication and technology to support daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving to support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.

$18.54 / hour

- Monday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
- Thursday: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
- Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
- Sunday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
