Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Intake

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with airport operations personnel and public agencies.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control/badge experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
