Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
