About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and support access control activities using computers or tablets to document observations and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
