Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities include supporting access control, reporting observations, and responding to site needs with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observed security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with emergency personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and maintain professional communication with site personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

• DayTime shift: Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM.
