About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Houston, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with established site policies.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations through required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Guard card/license is preferred.

$11.50 / Hour

- Monday: 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Tuesday: 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Thursday: 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
