Security Officer Full-Time Unarmed Overnight Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection in Mc Kees Rocks, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a data services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge processes, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while you provide professional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of data-services locations, including building interiors, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and reports.
• Communicate observations and incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
