Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Interior Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Ashville, OH, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and security-related operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and driver credentials; maintain visitor logs; and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel; and complete required reports.
- Observe shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas for compliance with site-specific procedures and report security-related concerns, damaged barriers, or unusual conditions to site leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.

$21.63 / hour

- Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
