About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Licenses: State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Background investigation: Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening: Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses: Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license: A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
