About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with transit personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
