Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with transit personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
