Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Hazard Awareness Patrol

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location in Louisville, KY. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas, with working conditions varying across the location.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and delivery vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns by maintaining a professional presence and reporting unusual activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
