Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Facility Patrol

About the role
As a Full Time Unarmed Facility Patrol Security Officer in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will respond to alarms and support a professional environment through clear communication and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Alarm panel experience (preferred).
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$27.27 / hour

- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
