Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a full‑time Unarmed Driver Patrol Security Officer in Corpus Christi, TX to serve and safeguard clients in retail and other locations. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, and responding to security‑related concerns with professionalism and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors while following site‑specific procedures and security protocols at a retail plaza.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking lots, storefronts, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor activity throughout the property, report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and professionally; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• State, county, or city‑issued security‑related license (preferred).
• Guard card or license (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Pay

$14.00 per hour.

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Thursday: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
