Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol in Delaware City, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility operations areas, access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary across the site.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and security-related concerns to help deter unauthorized access and support site operations.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
